今天 1216 台灣時間午夜觀看Doha 多哈亞運會閉幕表演。
This midnight (12/16) at Taiwan time, I watched the closing ceremony of Asian Game DOHA 2006.



在過去音樂系我所熟悉的 林姆斯基高沙可夫 : 天方夜譚 音樂中開啟了亞運會閉幕典禮的表演。
With the song playing of Rimsky-Korsakov: Scheherazade I was familiar with when in music school, the wonderful performance started in the ceremony.

好美麗，多麼詩情畫意的情境!!
So Beautiful! How fantastic! A really scene of poetry and painting!


今年亞運表演主題以阿拉伯世界著名文學故事「一千零一夜」為主軸，由一位小男孩坐在魔毯升空把聖火引下來開啟閉幕表演活動，讓人大開眼界。 我彷彿回想起小時候看了好多童話故事書的情景，置身於整個中古世紀阿拉伯的世界。
The show began with the main theme of a famous Arabian old story "One Thousand and One Nights" ( كتاب ألف ليلة و ليلة / هزار و یک شب ). A young boy sitting on a magic blanket flew to take down the torch, making me impressed. I seemed to return to the time when I heard lots of fairy tales, placing myself to a real-like ancient Arabic world.


阿拉伯世界並不是等同於以美國新聞媒體所形容的落後和恐怖，萬惡不赦的地區印象。
其實在這個海灣與沙漠和石油為主體特色的國家，還是有很多有趣的事情值得去瞭解。
Arabian world, where has the impression of an evil area, actually is not backward and terrible described by some American media.
In a country full of oil and desert surrounded by bays, it still has many interesting things worth understanding.


我希望有機會的話我一定要到中東西亞地區去好好探訪一番，並有機會閱讀些阿拉伯伊斯蘭世界的文學，她們有著與歐美和中國印度兩大區塊不一樣，神秘且燦爛的特質。
I hope, if I have chances, I will go to West Asia and the Middle East to have a deep travel. And read Islamic literature. They have a very distinguishing characteristic of mystery and glory which differ from the other two big divisions of Europe and Chinese cultures.


最後把小男孩把羅盤交給卡達國王，象徵著世界要和平，我也相信不論是哪一種族的人，這是全人類共同的盼望。
At the last, the young boy gave the compass to Qatar King which symbolized the world peace. I believe whatever races people are, peace is the common hope for all people.
