我的舅舅 My Uncle

我這篇標題叫做我的舅舅，其實我並不是要介紹他的生平事蹟拉。今天晚上他辦公室網路連不上打電話跟我求助。雖然我從電話裡已經判斷出是他公司電腦本身usb的問題，但我想到或許可以再到現場幫他確認一次，所以我後來主動開車到他公司去看，開心的是這樣的好心得到了一些好報。

The title of this post is “My Uncle”. Well, I don't want to introduce you guys my uncle's great achievements actually. This evening, he asked me for a help about network connection troubles in his office. Although I had judged the problem was on his computer's USB in the telephone, I thought maybe I should go there and check it again for him, so I drove to his office later. The glad thing was good-heartedness often meets with recompense.

他是一個成功的腳踏車零件商，今晚他剛好清閒，check 電腦完後就聊天。聊著聊著就講到我想轉念商的事情。他還鼓勵我念博士，雖然我自己現在評估起來意願不是很強。此外他講的一些觀念很不錯，有些是我以前沒弄清楚的。
He is a successful bicycle component trader. He was at leisure this evening and chatted with me after checking some network problems. In this easy evening, we talked about the topic of changing my professional field to commerce. He encouraged me to study to PhD, ha, though I don't have a strong intention to do that at present. Besides that, I feel he gave me some good ideas, some of which I neglected before.


例如，在商場上挖角不只因為他本身能力好，更重要的是他的客戶群，挖到他等於把他的客戶資源甚至團隊一起帶過來，商場上很現實。
In business, head-hunting a person is not only because of his ability, but more important is his customer resources. Hiring him also get his customers and research group. It is reality.


從大學直接出來工作在社會上學到的比念研究所才出來的碩士更有價值。這因為是我的弱點，如果光從卡位升遷或是薪水層面來講，這樣轉可能並不是太吃香。
The value from working experience a person gets since graduate is usually higher than a studying degree of a master. It is my weakness in the commerce field if I just discuss this from salaries and position promotion. It is not a best situation for me.


不過，積極的態度才最重要。不管工作或唸書上，把重心放在知識上的擷取，而不要花太多心力管人心的事情，也包括所謂的生涯規劃，升遷加薪等計畫。每個人的想法都是不同的線，太複雜也無從推測起
However, the positive attitude is the best, and most important. Whether on studying or working, just put more energy on knowledge learning but don't spend too much time being over-careful about other people's thinking, including so-called career planning or promotion and salaries. Every person's thought is a different line, too complicated and hard to guess.


積極的態度改變個性 。 試著把每一天做一些改變，人家說個性很難改，的確不簡單，但是每天改變的習慣，其實也就是個性上的改變。
Positive attitude changes personality. I will try to do something different everyday. People say personality is hard to change, well indeed it is. Try to change in everyday's life; in fact, it is the changes of our personality.


不用想太多，機關算盡，百密終有一疏，樂觀且把生活做簡單，成效驚人。
Don't think too much. “機關算盡，百密終有一疏” in Chinese means making consideration of everything, finally, right on 99 reasons of 100 but miss one. Be optimistic and make life simple. It has amazing effects.
